If you have been reading the blog you already know I am moving to Clarksville, Tennessee next month! Clarksville is about 40 min northwest of Nashville and that whole area has been hit with some terrible flooding. We close on our house later this month and being in Virginia we can't just go check on it. We had asked our Realtor to go check and she couldn't even get to our house because the roads to our neighborhood and the surrounding area including her office is full of water. Last night a friend of mine here in Virginia that use to live in Clarksville asked me how our house was and where we it was. She told me a friend of a friend had some pictures they had taken up on Facebook. So I decided to look and when I came across this one I was so super excited to see our house and to see it was high and dry! Isn't that amazing?! Josh and I are very thankful and yet still sad for the rest of the area. Well I just wanted to give a little update on our house, our move and the flood. By the way if anyone knows anyone in Clarksville or Nashville let them know I am offering discounts on sessions and weddings for the next few months until I get moved in and business get back up. THANKS!!!

Ok some of you guys have asked for an update on the Kelly Moore bag. I have had the chance to do a few shoots with it now and I really love it. It is the right bag for me and what I want out of a bag. My favorite thing is that it stands up when you set it down and I know it is not going to tip over. It is deep enough to set my camera with lens down in and it is safe. I like to get to a location find where I want to shoot and then set my bag down at my feet and go after it. I used to carry my shootsac and it was too much for my back after lots of shooting. There is not a need to carry the bag the whole time. Well for me at least. So me and my back LOVE this bag. Also after my shoot when I run into Chipolte for lunch I can carry it in and it does not scream camera bag. So that is a bonus.

Well We have official word that the Muehlendorf family is moving to Tennessee this summer. Josh will be joining up with a new unit and we will be moving back down south!! This week is spring Break and we are going house hunting. I will keep everyone posted on what we find. :) I will be out of the office until April 6 and will return all emails and phone calls then. All 4 new things I love! Now I have not switched over to Aperture 3 but I did download the trial and I am loving it so far. We will see. I have not bought a new pair of cowboy boots in forever and I am so happy that I did. I am thinking I am going to wear them all spring. Ok so now for the Kelly Moore Bag. I am so happy to have a new camera bag that is so much better than the shoot sac I have been using for years. I love that my camera with a lens and then 2 other lenses, a flash and every other little thing I can ever need will fit. So I am headed to BEND until late Friday. The girls from the MARFA [trip] are headed to Bend, Oregon for the week. I have never been to Oregon and I am so excited to see this amazingly beautiful place. I am excited to have a week off and away from my computer just to take pictures and hang out with girlfriends. Although I am not sure I will be able to handle leaving Josh and the kids for that long! I have no clue what we have planned or what we are going to be doing and that is really fun for me. Since I am flying from the east coast to the west coast my flight days are LONG! If you want to keep up with me for the week make sure you are following me on twitter.
