I love a good ol Texas wedding. There is noting else like it. Cheyanne and Brandt live here in Washington DC but like me they are from Houston. I flew down for the weekend and it was an interesting weekend. The day of their wedding was the day of the HUGE snow storm here. We got 22 inches and everything closed down. So I am kinda glad I missed all of that but I was just barley allowed to fly home on Sunday because Reagan Airport had been closed. Nothing like sitting int he airport a few days before Christmas wondering if and how you would be able to fly home. Luckily I made it. Oh also crazy enough I ran into Cheyanne and Brandt in the Houston airport that morning! They were headed to Hawaii where it was much warmer. So enough of that back to the wedding. This was a RED night time Christmas wedding. I loved it! All of the details were perfect and it was at my old church (Second Baptist) which is always fun. The reception was at the Junior League. It was great being back in Houston and having Lisa shoot with me.

Erin and Nate got married on November 7. It was a beautiful fall day here in Washington, DC. I was so lucky to have Jenn Link shoot with me. Thanks Jenn! This wedding was so beautiful and elegant. Erin is stunning and I loved her dress. Erin did all of the planning and decor, isn't she amazing? They had their ceremony at the Clarendon United Methodist Church in Arlington and the the reception was at the lovely Carnegie Institute in Downtown DC. This was such a wonderful wedding and they are two of the sweetest people. Congrats Erin and Nate!

Leslie and Tony got married early on October 24th. I love morning weddings! There is so much light and energy about it! So If you can remember Leslie and Tony's Engagement session you know they laugh a lot! I love it. I love happy couples that laugh a lot. They got married at St. Anne Catholic Church in Arlington, Virginia. After the ceremony we went to a park to shoot some fun pics with the wedding party. The felt mustaches were my fav! The rain stayed away from us all morning while it seemed to have poured everywhere else. It was a good day!

Jamie and Sinclair got married on the most beautiful Houston day ever! I was so happy to fly down to Texas and be surprised with this weather! Jamie and Sinclair have been one of my favorite couples ever. Jamie is so beautiful and elegant. Sinclair is the bride and I love it! I love being greeting with hugs and excitement. They had complete trust in me and that felt really good. Having a bride and groom love you this much makes you feel amazing! They got married on the front lawn of The Houstonian. I loved their ceremony because it was outside and if you know Houston, you know how hard it is to plan an outdoor ceremony! They had Buddhist Monks participate in the ceremony and the rituals and chants were amazing to watch. After the ceremony they partied! I had so much fun seeing everyone party so hard! The DJ was fantastic and everyone had a good time. This was a fun night. So here are the pictures! Thanks for reading my blog, leave a comment and tell me what you think!

These pictures are just the tip of the iceberg. Laura took so many fantastic pictures that Jamie and I are really having a difficult time narrowing them down for the albums we want to order! We're really ecstatic about the amazing job Laura did. So happy with you, Laura! Thank you!

This was a beautiful day! The weather was perfect! It was just one of those days when the weather just makes you smile. Cara and Nick got married at the Ceresville Mansion in Frederick Maryland. Cara's favorite color red was everywhere. I really enjoyed how the wedding and reception was at the same location and the guest just showed up and had a good time. Everything on this day went as planned and perfectly. Cara looked amazing and we had fun hanging out all day and taking pictures. Cara and Nick are one of my most fav 2009 couples! they were so sweet and their family was so welcoming it felt like we were family! Thanks Stacy for 2nd shooting for me!
