Yesterday my friend Katie brought her son Morris over for a little snow shoot. Katie is also a local photographer here is Clarksville. Morris was curious yet cautious about the snow. He was such a sweetie and has the cutest smile. So here are a few shots form our little snow session.

I met sweet Matthias yesterday. He was 11 days old and slept like an angel. I love this sweet family. I did Heather's maternity pictures in December and their daughter Mera is my new friend. We hung out for a bit in her playhouse coloring after we were done taking pictures of her new brother. I love sweet families.

Sunday was my first bridal show ever at the 2011 Clarksville Brides Wedding and Event Showcase put on by Clarksville Brides. In almost 7 years now of being in business and shooting weddings, I have never participated in a bridal show. It was a lot of work and I did have fun. I was a little nervous because I didn't know what it was going to be like. I usually meet with all of my couples and devote an hour or more to them just chatting. I wasn't sure how a quick in and out atmosphere was going to work. Clarksville bridal show is fairly small and I had time to talk with most of the people that came by and wanted to talk. I met lots of fun couples that I hope to be hearing from soon. The fashion show was fun but, a bit too loud and it made it really hard to talk while that was going on, since I was right next to the stage. I thought I was going to loose my voice at one point from talking so much. I didn't really do a great job taking pictures of my booth but here are a few. Thanks to everyone that stopped by!

Well this has been a great year for us. We are feeling pretty settled in here in Clarksville, TN and we excited for all of the years to come we will be here and make family memories. We plan to be here until the kids graduate high school and maybe even forever. Kate and Will are loving their new school and the friends they have made. Josh is loving his new job and I am having fun restarting my business in a new town. I have to admit is is quite challenging but if it were easy would it be worth it? If I just moved here and instantly had hundred of clients knocking on my door for pictures would I appreciate it as much? I love my company and what I do for a profession and moving this year has forced me to look at everything in a new light. I am grateful for each and every person I get to photograph. Merry Christmas everyone!

*I will be on vacation with my family from Dec 23rd until Jan 3rd*

This was a fun little family. Logan is almost 1 and on the move. He did not want to sit still for a single second but we had fun with it. Who would have thought we could shoot outside the week of Christmas and it not be freezing cold! This is my final session of the year. All of the Christmas cards are out, print orders delivered and now it is time to take a break and enjoy some time with my family.
