Ashleigh contacted me about doing family pictures for her when her husband was home on R&R. I love sweet families and being able to capture tangible memories for them. This session was so much fun and it will be one I will never forget. We shared quite a few laughs. Ashleigh has great taste and had great ideas for how she wanted her session. We decided at the last minute to do a few at the vineyard and I am so glad we did. Isn't this family adorable?

While I was in Houston I also got the chance to take pictures of the Janson Family. It was so fun to see them again. I took family pictures for them 4 years ago and so much has changed. Little Layla was just a baby. It is really fun to watch families grow over the years since I have met them. I am honored when families invite me back time and time again to capture the milestones of their lives.

This is the Kimball Family. The Army is moving them from Clarksville off to new fun and exciting adventures. Paige wanted to take some family pictures around downtown Clarksville for them to remember their time here. Paige is a local photographer here and I am happy to have met her even for such a short time. I really loved doing this shoot and I love the real life I was able to capture. Every picture is not about getting the perfect pose or the perfect smile. Some of my most cherished photographs capture the real thoughts or looks of real life. I love the picture of Aidan scratching his foot not caring at all that his mom and dad are kissing in the loft. That shot has a realness to it that I fell in love with.
