I met Mackenzie and her mom at the Clarksville Bridal Show in January. I knew I was going to love Mackenzie and her wedding from the second I saw her and her style. Shooting this wedding was kind of different from most weddings I do because Mackenzie and Bobby hired me just for portraits. I loved every detail and this barn out in Dover was just perfect for the wedding.

Katie and Sean were married on a Friday at Chapel Hill Farms in Pembroke, KY. The little white church was built in 1856 and is surrounded by the most beautiful farm land. I love how this wedding was so simple and so breathtaking at the same time. This is definitely one of my all time favorite weddings. I loved the huge tree with the rope swing and all of the mason jar candles. Katie and Sean's daughter Grace was so adorable and I love it when couples incorporate their kids in the ceremony signifying the marriage of a family. This wedding makes me happy.

Jessica and Bryan's Wedding was really unique. The ceremony was on a moat at Walker Farms down by the river. They both did so much DIY decor for this day. Bryan even built the alter himself. I really love it when weddings have so many handmade personal touches. My favorite part of the wedding was the lanterns. All of the guests had so much fun and they sky was so magical.

Libby and Seth were married on 09.10.11, probably the most popular wedding date of the year. I absolutely loved this Clarksville courthouse wedding, it was so casual and so perfect! Libby and Seth did a first look on the steps of the courthouse steps then we did all of the bride and groom shots before the ceremony. Libby was so excited to have the yellow cab drop her off for the ceremony. There was dark skies and wind right as the ceremony was about to start. Fortunately it did not rain on us, but it did make for pretty skies. After the ceremony we walked down Franklin Street to the Front Page Deli where they had their reception upstairs. I loved the space!! I have to say this was one of my favorite weddings. I just loved it!

Sarah + Eric < Texas Wedding >

Sarah and Eric's Texas wedding was beautiful. I loved traveling home to shoot a wedding and it was even more special to me because it was family. My mom and Sarah's dad are first cousins. I have only gotten to see my daughter Kate at a wedding a few times and this one was the best yet. She had the time of her life and even caught the bouquet. Sarah was beautiful and she is such a wonderful person. Eric treats her like a princess and they are so cute! Their wedding was at Brookwood Community in Brookshire Texas. Brookwood is a beautiful community for special needs adults. Sarah's Uncle (my mom's cousion) Pat has lived there for many years. It was very special to the family for the wedding to be there. Unfortunately Sarah's Grandmother (my great aunt Chris) was too ill to be able to be at the wedding. I hope these pictures make her smile. This was a truly beautiful wedding.
