Ok some of you guys have asked for an update on the Kelly Moore bag. I have had the chance to do a few shoots with it now and I really love it. It is the right bag for me and what I want out of a bag. My favorite thing is that it stands up when you set it down and I know it is not going to tip over. It is deep enough to set my camera with lens down in and it is safe. I like to get to a location find where I want to shoot and then set my bag down at my feet and go after it. I used to carry my shootsac and it was too much for my back after lots of shooting. There is not a need to carry the bag the whole time. Well for me at least. So me and my back LOVE this bag. Also after my shoot when I run into Chipolte for lunch I can carry it in and it does not scream camera bag. So that is a bonus.

All 4 new things I love! Now I have not switched over to Aperture 3 but I did download the trial and I am loving it so far. We will see. Blog Stomped is a super cool new branding action that makes my blogging easier and faster. Check it out here: Blog Stomped. As for the stetsons. I LOVE these! The smell alone melted me. I have not bought a new pair of cowboy boots in forever and I am so happy that I did. I am thinking I am going to wear them all spring. Ok so now for the Kelly Moore Bag. I am so happy to have a new camera bag that is so much better than the shoot sac I have been using for years. I love that my camera with a lens and then 2 other lenses, a flash and every other little thing I can ever need will fit. I will give another review after I get out of hibernation and shoot with it more but for now I am thrilled! You can check it out here: The Kelly Moore Bag!

I just ordered the Kelly Moore bag too, and I can't wait to get it tomorrow (it's supposed to be my very early bday present lol)! I've heard really good reviews about it, and I'm glad you love yours!

I would love to hear more about what you think of the Kelly Moore bag! I keep going back and forth as to whether this would be a good buy. I too have the shootsac and hate that I can not get a camera body in it. There's rumor that shootsac might be coming out with something that will do that but do not know when. You also have the color that I want, grey! Can't wait to hear more!!!

I wanted to share with you guys some of the albums. It is like Christmas when the UPS man brings me an album box. It is funny I get so excited even though I have to put it back in the mail to the bride. Albums are the ultimate final finished product of wedding photography. You can tell from the pictures, they are amazing! There are many cover options and materials including high end leather, Japanese book cloth, and animal friendly fabric that looks and feels like suede. I love it when the brides are in the process of picking their cover. Of course I have my opinions on what I would do (and offer those as a suggestions) but I love seeing what the couple picks. So that is it. No real news, just wanted to share with you some pictures. Happy October 1!

Earlier this week Evan with MyDeejay posted a write up on his blog about hiring a wedding photographer. He asked many well know photographers in the DC metro area all sorts of questions and put it all together as a resource for brides. I thought it was really helpful for brides who are searching for the right photographer for their wedding. It was also very interesting for me to read what all the other photographers had to say. Finding the right wedding photographer should be something every bride is concerned with. Every photographer is different and right for different brides. I have a very laid back, low stress personality which attracts that kind of bride. My brides are NOT high maintenance, they are down to earth, comfortable with themselves and trust me 100% to make amazing pictures of their wedding. They want to have fun with their pictures. They hire me not to just show up and take pictures at their wedding but for the whole experience. I get to know them well and they trust my ideas. From that we work together to make beautiful pictures. My brides know once they hire me as their wedding photographer they don't have to worry one bit about their pictures. They will be amazing and they know that. The right relationship between a couple and their photographer is essential. I hope this article is helpful to any of you brides out there trying to find your photographer. If I happen to be your right photographer that is even cooler. :)
