This is the Kimball Family. The Army is moving them from Clarksville off to new fun and exciting adventures. Paige wanted to take some family pictures around downtown Clarksville for them to remember their time here. Paige is a local photographer here and I am happy to have met her even for such a short time. I really loved doing this shoot and I love the real life I was able to capture. Every picture is not about getting the perfect pose or the perfect smile. Some of my most cherished photographs capture the real thoughts or looks of real life. I love the picture of Aidan scratching his foot not caring at all that his mom and dad are kissing in the loft. That shot has a realness to it that I fell in love with. Goodbye and good luck Kimball Family!

Meet the Taylor's. Clare and her two boys were so fun. I was so happy to be asked to shoot the cover of Clarksville Family Magazine again for May. Clare is a local artist and when she showed up in her painted jeans and told me that was all she really ever wore I knew I was going to love her. She had her late husbands old Superman shirt and the boys wore super hero shirts as well. I love capturing real life just as it is. Real life is beautiful. Be sure to check out the Clarksville Family Magazine!

Yesterday my friend Katie brought her son Morris over for a little snow shoot. Katie is also a local photographer here is Clarksville. Morris was curious yet cautious  about the snow. He was such a sweetie and has the cutest smile. So here are a few shots form our little snow session.

This was a fun little family. Logan is almost 1 and on the move. He did not want to sit still for a single second but we had fun with it. Who would have thought we could shoot outside the week of Christmas and it not be freezing cold! This is my final session of the year. All of the Christmas cards are out, print orders delivered and now it is time to take a break and enjoy some time with my family.

Meet the Deem family. I really loved getting to know this family. I can only hope my family is this fun when my kids are in high school. The dad is home on leave from deployment and they wanted to do family pictures. I am getting these pictures turned around super fast so they can have them before he goes back. Now let me tell you when my clients suggest fun ideas to incorporate into their pictures with out my suggestions I am in love! They said when they are all home they do a family game night once a week so they thought it would be fun to bring a coffee table and games. LOVE that almost as much as I love these warm happy sunshine pictures. Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow everyone! I am thankful for my family and all of the Clarksville families I have been so blessed to have had the opportunity to take pictures of so far this fall.
